A&D Fire, a division of The Hiller Companies, Inc., is a national leader in the Fire Protection and Security Industry and has an immediate opening for a Fire Alarm Technician in Spokane, WA.

Required:

  • Experience working as a fire alarm and security technician for a minimum of 4 years
  • Washington State Journeyman EL06 certificate
  • Strong work ethic and integrity
  • Detail oriented and strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in the use of personal computer programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and lift equipment
  • Working knowledge of test equipment such as a digital multimeter
  • Electrical construction knowledge and good work ethics
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent driving record and able to pass a motor vehicle report to drive a company vehicle 
  • Ability and willingness to obtain NICETII within 1 year
  • Ability to work a full time schedule
  • Basic knowledge of NFPA codes and standards preferred but not required

Description:

  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret schematics
  • Understand the "Scope of Work" of all projects
  • Exhibit excellent customer service
  • Perform other duties assigned, including attending training classes
  • Ability to life and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Other duties as assigned
