Position Title: Billing Specialist
Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm position.
Position can be 100% virtual within the state of Florida.
The Billing Specialist is responsible for billing all claims each month to the necessary payers in accordance with the regulations mandated by Medicare, Medicaid, and other Third-Party payer contracts. They are responsible for collections, processing payments in the EMR system and processing refunds. Knowledge in insurance claims, processing procedures, refunds, contractual adjustments and Medicare and Medicaid program requirements. The knowledge of medical terminology, coding, and the use of billing software (preferably NetSmart’s myUnity and myAvatar products) are required to perform the job efficiently.

You Have:
- Education – High School Degree or GED required. Associate's Degree preferred.
- Experience – 2 years of relevant experience. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
