Marketing Coordinator

Assist Director of Marketing in coordinating various integrated communication and marketing activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Interface with marketing suppliers and external marketing related firms--including but not limited to video production, promotional items, print materials, etc., from design concept, to choosing item, submitting the correct logo, receiving item, ship to location where needed.
• Develop and coordinate production of a wide range of marketing communications and materials.
• Execute a wide variety of details that involve web, SEO, internal communications, direct mail, email broadcast campaigns, trade shows and events, customer communications, advertisements, and other marketing plans.
• Assist in and develop standardize presentations, sales scripts, proposals.
• Monitoring online blogs and social media for tracking communications related to the brand of a company.
• Participate as a member of the team that develops lead generation plans with targets, measures, and objectives. Creating campaigns and tracking of metrics
• Writing and editing, grant submissions, award submissions, articles, web/intranet content.
• Company Point person for: Letterhead, logos, nameplates, business cards, lanyards, standard presentation, general marketing materials, etc.
• Marketing literature and posters/signage – work with graphic designer on content and design, proofread materials, acquire print costs/timeframes, etc.
• Collect demographic data, lists, market trends. Track pipeline/lead data to measure metrics.
• Process departmental purchase orders – marketing materials, contract workers, vendors, etc.
• Order business cards and ensure delivery.

Education and Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field or 3 or more years equivalent experience.
• Design and digital marketing experience
• Knowledge of website and marketing analytic tools
• Intermediate skill level with MS Publisher or other page layout application, Photoshop and design software. Word Press, WebEx (or other collaboration software), Camtasia or other video editing software. Email marketing platforms i.e. mail chimp, constant contact. Canva, not required but would be nice to have.
• Computer proficiency with excellent Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook skills.
• Ability to operate independently.
• Effective project management skills.
• Sound understanding of marketing principles.
• Effective understanding of latest technologies and should identify how to apply them in marketing.
• Strong editing and writing skills.
• Good team player and should meet or exceed team goals.
• Plan decisions and practice good judgment.
• Build excellent working relationship to attain goals.
• Work collaboratively and efficaciously as a team member.
• Be self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative.
• Communicate excellently in verbal and in writing.
