Harrison National Employment is Hiring a Payment Processor Near Marlton, NJ
The Payment Processor is responsible for accurately and timely processing of customer mortgage payments to the servicing system daily. This position will work collaboratively with business units to ensure company guidelines and processes are met.
Essential Job Functions:
Posts all payments accurately, either manually or electronically to the servicing system.
Posts all payoffs accurately to the servicing system.
Reconciles posted items.
Disburses checks.
Reconciles disbursement of checks.
Opens mail.
Contacts attorney, title agents and borrowers for short payoffs.
Works pending and exception items.
Maintains reversal of posting transactions IE> NSF and reversals.
Scans mortgage payments into the servicing system and depository bank.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
6 months to 1 year related experience preferred
Mortgage Servicing experience preferred – Insurance and Finance experience is helpful if the candidate was posting checks in those roles.
Fast paced environment – the department is busy!

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
