Description

  • The Marketing Manager is responsible for marketing and public relations initiatives for the Company. The Marketing Manager is a key member of the organization and very active in the community and on social media sites.

 Some of the duties and responsibilities include: 

  • Write, edit, proof, and coordinate marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Create and execute marketing strategy for email, website, ad copy, and social media content
  • Monitor and respond to guests, owners, and partners through social media channels such as Google, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, VRBO and others
  • Manage and report on customer data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Schedule and supervise marketing team
  • Train new employees
  • Participate in leadership meetings
  • Actively work with local community businesses and organizations to promote Company brand and communicate pertinent information to clients 
  • Update websites and listing information
  • Write property descriptions and Photograph/video graph rental properties 
  • Order and manage marketing supplies
  • Identify opportunities for brand awareness and growth
  • Coordinate promotional advertising 
  • Select monthly featured property for social media exposure
  • Update Company Email list
  • Review emails, voicemails/text messages and respond promptly
  • Email staff when new property launches

Requirements

Qualifications include:

  • Must have previous marketing experience
  • Ability to work remotely with a reliable phone, computer and Wi-Fi
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Photoshop and Google software
  • Proficient with social media
  • Graphic design skills
  • Outgoing and ability to attend networking events
  • Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Project management skills
  • The aptitude to learn and understand the vacation rental industry 
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Attention to detail and highly organized
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good listening and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Knowledgeable of the area that Harris Vacation Rentals services
  • associate’s degree or higher
