ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Perform a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the human resources department.
  • Assist with the full-cycle recruitment process, company-wide training programs, and benefits.
  • Align HR laws with current policies and procedures in the jurisdictions we do business and assist with updates as necessary.
  • Assist with HR compliance to include OFCCP, government reporting, and audits.
  • Maintain Human Capital Management (HCM) system, personnel files, and HR page on the Hub.
  • Exhibit confidentiality with executive, employee, and corporate information.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with executives, internal departments, corporate staff, site teams, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the full-cycle recruitment process to include interview process, offer letters, post-offer screenings, E-Verify, I9, new hire backpacks, polo shirts and give aways, and internship programs.
  • Assist with onboarding to include 30 and 90-day checklists and employee referrals.
  • Assist with training and development to include certifications, bi-annual class scheduling, tuition reimbursement, performance management, and employee development plans.
  • Assist with benefits to include invoicing, open enrollment, unemployment claims, jobsite posters and panels, new hire state reporting, and annual notices.
  • Support the human resources communication efforts via internal Hub posts and external mailings.
  • Promptly assist employees with all human resources-related matters.
  • Attend required corporate meetings, training programs, and Harkins University seminars/webinars.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE


  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in human resources or related profession.
  • Exhibit good written and verbal communication skills with senior management, corporate departments, project teams, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient with PeopleSoft is a plus.
  • Self-starter, strong work ethic, and a team player.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
