Education: Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Civil Engineering from an accredited university is preferred.
Certification: Professional Engineering and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) registration is highly preferred.
Experience: This position requires 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in engineering and project management. Additional experience supporting needs in a heavy industrial environment is preferred. Chemical plant experience is preferred.
Summary: Generally responsible for performing all aspects of project management for moderately complex engineering project assignments ensuring total delivery of the services on time, within performance budget and quality expectations. This work will be performed under minimal supervision on-site at a Specialty Chemical facility in Cicero, IL. The selected candidate would be responsible for overseeing capital construction projects ranging from $2MM - $8MM in size and managing 3rd party engineering contractors.
This is a long-term, full-time opportunity offering full benefits and competitive pay. Local candidates are preferred. Per diem may be provided for those who qualify. This position offers a hybrid schedule (working remote option a few days/week).
