The qualified candidate would be generally responsible for planning and scheduling heavy industrial engineering projects, monitoring project costs and/or estimating projects. Work will be performed under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and planning skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Work requires working from heights, climbing fixed ladders, and stairs, etc.
  • Lead assigned portion of outage scope through planning and construction
  • Provide daily schedule updates during outage execution.
  • Experience managing logistics vendors including HW/FW, Laborers, Sanitation, Waste, Fuel
  • Experience developing and managing an outage plot plan
  • Experience developing rental equipment list and scheduling drop off and pick up or equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams ensuring service needs are fully covered: Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Operations, Service Engineering.
  • Uphold and communicate high standards of housekeeping in assigned areas and on all job sites. Conduct frequent formal housekeeping inspections of plant areas.
  • Maintains good partnerships with customers by responding to their needs and requirements (internal and external).
  • May be required to perform duties outside of the above responsibilities from time to time, as needed.
  • Complete close out and documentation as required by client standards and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience with reading and understanding contracts and contractual requirements.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and business software, including Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook) OneNote, SAP.
  • Familiarity with My Buyer, Requisitioning and procurement processes.
  • Excellent project management skills with demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and juggle ever-changing priorities and deadlines.
  • 5 years’ experience in industrial outages as a Logistics Coordinator/Planner
  • Willing to work a wide variety of scheduled days and hours, following strict fatigue management guidelines. Travel may be required as much as 25-45% depending on projects
  • Ability to work without close supervision.
  • Works professionally and harmoniously with co-workers, supervisors, management, support personnel, program participants, and business-related persons.
  • Utilizes positive and constructive attitude toward resolution of problems and conflicts.
  • Accepts direction, criticism, and supervision.
  • Demonstrates ability to remain calm in demanding situations.
  • Ability to work within and promote a teamwork philosophy.
  • Makes good use of time, completing assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Able to achieve various State mandated certifications, TWIC, and other requirements as may be deemed necessary.
  • Prioritize “Zero is achievable” safety policy in words and actions to protect self, others and the environment.
  • High ethical standards - unwilling to compromise on worker safety and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrates positive, supportive, and cooperative behavior in interacting with co-workers, supervisors and management.
