The Business Systems Analyst II has responsibility for understanding, planning, and delivery of technology solutions and organizational information systems for the business. The Business Systems Analyst II role is technology liaison to business groups to analyse business requirements as well as design, develop and implement solutions related to business processes and data integration between third party vendor systems. This individual is also responsible for maintaining, supporting, and upgrading existing systems and applications. For both internal and external teams, this individual works under the direction of the VP of Business Systems Delivery and with the business units to frame the business value from technology initiatives and articulate this value to meet the institution’s business goals and objectives.
1.) Provide Tier 1 & 2 application support via Service Desk2.) Support identification of new Core system capabilities and enhancements3.) Facilitate and execute Technology/business critical processes 4.) Support Technology/business projects and initiatives
Maintain the delivery of Bank business applications and coordinate application-related incident triage and enhancement requests via helpdesk platform; provide Tier 1 and 2 support as required. Follow up on problem resolution and inform clients of status.
Perform system/application maintenance and support activities, as required.
Coordinate and execute Technology and enterprise-wide critical processes; including but not limited to, audits, change control, disaster recovery, security reviews, and business continuity planning.
Support the development and deployment of new applications, systems software, reports, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the enterprise.
Support the identification of opportunities for enhancements or extensions of application functionality; utilize web and / or development skills, enhance or extend application functionality for a variety of business systems including core and lending systems.
Participate in the review and analysis of existing system effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop/recommend strategies for improving of leveraging these systems.
Support Business Systems Delivery team in business analysis / requirements gathering and documentation to support projects.
Support creation of policies and procedures related to IT systems; responsible for updating policies and procedures and relevant documentation over time.
Execute test plans and document results. Coordinate development and changes resulting from such testing; create deployment/roll out plans for Technology and business teams to implement software into production.
Complete project and system documentation that adheres to the Technology Solutions Group project methodology as required.
