The ideal candidate is highly organized, can work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrates the ability to multi-task and prioritize, upholds company standards and their own. To be successful, this candidate must have strong system skills including Excel and accounting software, have the ability to work with accuracy while adhering to weekly/monthly deadlines. Must have a passion for the restaurant industry and enjoy working in a fun, fast paced professional work environment. Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting and at least 3 years of recent restaurant accounting experience.

Primary responsibilities of the position include:

• Prepare and post journal entries.

• Oversee Weekly financial reports.

• Bank Account Reconciliation.

• Complete analysis and account reconciliations to determine if journal entries are needed to issue accurate and complete financials.

• Prepare and file State and City Sales Tax Returns

• Prepare financial statements - Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow etc.

• Assist with monthly, quarterly and year-end closings.

• Complete special projects as assigned.

• Assist Controller as needed.

Compensation: $50-60,000/year
