HANSENS IGA is Hiring a Store Director Near Black River, WI

Position Purpose:
Represent Hansen's IGA image in a positive manner by providing our customers with helpful, courteous and exceptional service. The manager is in charge and responsible for all store functions, results, performances and staff in the store.
Qualifications/Skills:
Must be 18 years or older.
Must have two years of grocery retail experience.
Travel may be required.
Willing to become community involved.

Honest, team-oriented person who has a good work ethic and productive nature.

Must have a friendly, courteous, service-oriented attitude.

Must be able to perform work independently to achieve company goals.

Must have supervising experience and able direct and enforce company goals and policies to staff.

Able to handle working with confidential information.

Exceptional communication skills

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Interaction with customers will be friendly, courteous, positive and enthusiastic.

Deal with customer concerns and/or complaints.

Delegates responsibilities to store employees.

Meet store profit goals and objectives set by the corporate office.

Oversees the training of all new staff.

Directs and enforces company policies to all store employees.

Make decisions regarding store policies and functions.

Responsible for cash budgeting and cash flow maintenance of entire store.

Monitor inventory controls for every department.

Generates weekly store schedules by Thursday noon.

Create and make merchandise displays.

Orders merchandise in a timely manner.

Checks-in merchandise to make sure the store receives what the invoice indicates.

Responsible for courtesy counter duties when needed.

Directs or shows customers where items are in the store.

Must know all functions of all store departments; including but not limited to: deli, meat, produce, dairy, and bakery.

Follows the Courtesy Routine when checking out customers.

Responsible for the accuracy of money that is given as change and taken as payment.

Follows check cashing policies.

Follows the company's sale of alcohol and cigarette policy.

Must know and perform other duties when needed, included but not limited to: cashiering, stock, rotate and face merchandise, bag groceries, clean the store, etc

Other duties as they are assigned
Physical Requirements:

Lift 50lbs occasionally, lift 20lbs regularly.

Stand and walk for the duration of work shift. Sitting occasionally.

Reaching, pushing, and pulling merchandise regularly.
