Position Identification
Job Title: Marketing Associate
Job Function: Market and Business Intelligence
Report to: Planning Senior Manager
Job Purpose
The Market Intelligence Associate is a key role responsible fpr managing, monitoring, analysing, and reporting market data that may have an impact on the US Tire Industry. This information may be internal data such as sales performance or external information sourced from customers, industry associates, or publications. This position is expected to identify and present market changes, trends, risks, and opportunities on a regular basis to top management.
Key Accountabilities
- Represent Hankook Tire at external organization (marketing related) such as USTMA
- Create internal reports and analysis based on the researched or provided data
- Present analysis and proposals to management regularly and/or upon request.
- Provide all reporting and data required by the US Tire Manufacturing Association (USTMA)
- Upload all relevant USTMA data into SAP
- Research industry or overall business rend and analyze data from documents or publications
- Search for new data source available in the market
- Collaborate with Product Management on future tire size and segment strategies
Level of Accountabilities

- Works with limited supervision
- Works in collaboration with manager, sales & marketing, customers, and external associations

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business or related area required
- Must be comfortable with travel
- Strong Excel skills required
- Advanced knowledge of other Microsoft software programs (PPT, Outlook, and Word) required
- Data analysis experience preferred
- SAP proficiency preferred
- Tire experience a plus
