JOB TITLE:Accounting Associate

DEPARTMENT: Corporate Management Team

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time - Exempt

JOB SUMMARY: The Accounting Associate is responsible for examining and preparing accounting records and reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Review A/P and A/R transactions for accuracy and completeness
• Create general journal entries in SAP
• Manage evidence and supporting documents
• Perform month-end closing duties
• Provide daily cash management support inclusive of, but not limited to, preparing bank transfers, reconciling bank accounts, and managing cash flow forecast file
• Assist with the creation and review of company accounting policies
• Generate standard and non-standard reports and statements
• Assist internal and external auditors during routine audits

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required, Accounting or Finance concentration preferred
• 1 year of relevant accounting experience required
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Previous experience in the manufacturing industry preferred
• Knowledge of SAP preferred
