Reporting to the Senior Manager Corporate Finance, the individual will support the Corporate Finance function and perform key reporting and analytical responsibilities in the areas of foreign exchange, financial risk management, debt management, and pensions. This position will also provide analysis work for other corporate Treasury activities and other special projects, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze debt structure and compliance on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Prepare interest accrual, and analyze variances to budget
• Prepare and analyze counterparty relationships with banks
• Execute strategy for the HBI foreign exchange program:
  • Communicate with business units and develop recommendations for cash flow hedging program and trading strategy
  • Trade execution
  • Recommendation and execution of balance sheet hedging program
  • Month end close mark-to-market process and reporting
  • Analyze actual vs hedged forecasts
  • Analyze projected rates and coverage from a balance sheet and income statement perspective
  • Manage the cash settlement process for Foreign exchange including all netting and relationships with trading partners
• Execute strategy for the Hanesbrands Inc. Investment Committee
  • Monitor all cash accounts and capital calls to ensure compliance with Investment Policy Statement
  • Analyze strategic asset allocations for all Defined Benefit plan assets and rebalance as necessary
  • Analyze funds offered for all Defined Contribution plan assets
  • Manage all 3rd party pension vendor relationships, negotiate contracts and fees, and review/process invoices
  • Support Canadian Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution plans and Canadian Pension Committee including management of cash accounts, benefit payments, invoices, and develop materials for Canadian Pension Committee meetings
  • Manage all internal audit and external reporting requests with financial and benefit plan audits and year end pension financial statement assumptions and disclosures
  • Point of contact for Human Resources with any pension administrative issues, communications, regulatory disclosures and vendor support as needed from time to time.

Qualifications

Qualifications 

• Education/Degrees: BS in business, finance, accounting, or economics or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Special Skills: Proficiency in MS office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Years of experience: 2 to 5 years

II. Preferred experience, skills, and education that are not required for job but beneficial to role (i.e. bi-lingual).

• Excel modeling skills
• Experience in finance and accounting

III. Competencies or behavioral characteristics required to accomplish primary accountabilities of job.

• Able to work independently and work in a multi-tasking environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Flexible, team player
• Strong desire to develop finance/treasury knowledge, both theoretical and practical
