Calling all leaders and problem-solvers!

Hamilton Heights Child Development Center is looking for a high-energy and inspiring leader to join its management team as the Director at its brand new 71st and Cornhusker location in Papillion.

This management position serves as the chief administrative officer of the center. The HHCDC leadership's vision is to build an early learning company that inspires because of the abundant opportunities it creates for staff, families, and children and we are looking for the right person that can help bring that vision to life at his/her center.

Immediate Supervisor: Regional Director

Major Work Activities:

  • Promote the professional image of Hamilton Heights in accordance with the rules and regulations established by Child Care Licensing and Hamilton Heights Child Development Center
  • Build relationships with staff and families that encourage safe, high-quality, and enriching childcare
  • Communicate HHCDC’s philosophy and curriculum approach effectively to parents and staff
  • Greet and give tours to prospective families
  • Lead staff to meet center goals
  • Hire, supervise, coach, and terminate administrative and teaching staff
  • Observe classrooms and provide teachers with feedback and modeling
  • Innovate to increase center efficiency, effectiveness, and quality
  • Identify improvement opportunities within the center operations and implement corrective action
  • Maintain records such as children’s enrollment records, menus, lesson plans, newsletters, account billings, and accounts receivable

  • Superb relationship-building and communication skills
  • Embodies HHCDC Core Values
  • Team player
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Three to five years of leadership experience in an educational environment
  • Lots of energy, positive can-do attitude, and love for children
  • Great communication skills
  • Computer proficiency and willingness to learn new things quickly
  • No conviction of a felony, violent crime, or any crime involving moral turpitude, child abuse, or neglect
  • First Aid and CPR certified
