Hall & Evans, L.L.C., a prominent and well-respected law firm headquartered in Denver, CO has a Legal Assistant employment opportunity at our offices in Park City, UT. We are looking for 3-5 years' Utah Legal Assistant experience, preferred.

Requirements

• Draft pleadings, discovery and routine correspondence;
• Assist attorneys with deposition preparation and other discovery requests;
• Prepare for client meetings, including document productions, depositions, hearings and trials;
• Review and summarize medical records;
• Organize exhibits;
• Front Desk responsibilities;
• Maintain case management files, both hard & soft file maintenance;
• Proficient in court rules; docketing and maintaining calendaring systems;
• Well-developed writing and research skills;
• Experience billing time;
• Must be detail oriented, have a high level of accuracy and ability to meet deadlines with limited supervision;
• Must have good communication skills, work well with others and have a professional demeanor;
• Excellent attendance, a high level of integrity and sound judgment;
• Must have strong MS Word and Outlook skills.
• Open and maintain files;
• E-filing documents with State and Federal Courts;
• Edit, proofread, finalize and send out a variety of documents;
• Manage attorney calendars including docketing court deadlines;
• Submit attorney reimbursements and case-related check requests;
• Assist with the monthly billing process;
• Provide backup/support for other secretaries as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. when necessary.
