We currently seek a Customer Focused AV Technician who is looking for the chance to work within a community of people who strive for excellence and continuous improvement. This person will collaborate closely with the Sales and Sales Engineering Team to ensure successful demonstrations while also working with our development team to test and demonstrate new hardware and software products.

A successful candidate must be able to support and maintain a fleet of demonstration systems and equipment. The position will include some amount of travel to support remote demonstrations and trade shows. In addition, this person should be willing to gain experience and a strong understanding of core technologies, as they will be relied on to apply this knowledge to expand their role as the position grows.

Responsibilities: 

• Curate, maintain, and update demonstration spaces such as Showroom, Lobby, and Remote Demo Systems 

• Curate, maintain, and update all demo equipment, (14) demo systems in all 

• Add new hardware or features to demo facilities as they become available to ensure demo spaces showcase the most current feature set 

• Coordinate closely with sales team on upcoming demo opportunities and equipment required/available. Be accessible to support account managers as they demo off site 

• Work with warehouse staff to facilitate shipping of equipment for demo purposes via FedEx or freight carriers 

• As equipment comes in from off-site demos, QC all items to ensure proper function 

• Work with dev ops team to update all (14) systems to the latest versions of software to showcase the latest features 

• Support Account Managers in demonstration calls to mitigate any issues 

• Test vital systems daily to make sure they are in proper working order for demos. Communicate any issues to sales team to avoid pitfalls with customers. 

• Test and QC any new features or hardware that may not have wide release, (e.g. Microsoft teams/CineAgent integration).

Qualifications and Skills: 

• Associates degree or higher education required

• Effective written and communication skills

• Proficient with MS Office

• The ability to learn/work effectively in a fast-paced collaborative environment

• Ability to pivot thinking and strategies 

• Strong technical capacity, specifically as it pertains to IT networks and software 

• Thoroughness and attention to detail

• IT/Networking education and/or experience is a plus

• A/V experience is a plus

• CTS Certification is a plus
