Haivision MCS seeks a talented, experienced, and disciplined Project Manager to drive AV projects from the infrastructure phase through in-house build and configuration and onsite implementation and commissioning. Our ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, self-starter, and capable of working both independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Create, direct, and implement project plans for in-house staging and onsite installations 
• Lead/manage field logistics, deployment, and installations (typically will be performed from the office, but some travel will be required) 
• Work with account managers and sales engineers to seamlessly hand off projects from a pre-sales environment into a post-sales project plan 
• Assist with post implementation support and effectively manage customer expectations
• Develop and refine best practices and standard operating procedure for project implementation 
• Develop/maintain necessary work products for project planning and job costing (engineering cost estimates, equipment lists, and bid specifications, etc.) 
• Identify additional sales opportunities for future projects with existing clients 
• Communicate with project stakeholders, partners, and end-users to ensure successful, on time project deployments 
• Provide weekly status updates both internally and externally for all open projects 

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency with project plans and Gantt charts 
• Video wall and general display technology 
• Switching, networking and routing equipment 
• Audio systems both analog and digital 
• Video and Audio Conferencing (IP Video Distribution and VTC systems) 
• Networking experience and appropriate certifications are a plus 
• CompTIA, Microsoft, or CCNA Certifications a plus 
• Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills 
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; able to communicate effectively with a wide range of clients, team members, and business partners 
• Detail-oriented and process driven 
• Enthusiastic and buoyant, ability to work efficiently and effectively 
• An effective delegator of tasks and responsibilities
