About the Team Come join the TEG team at Haemonetics to help our customers make critical blood therapy decisions for their patients! The TEG team is focused on effective hemostasis management that requires physicians to have the most complete information to make decisions on how to maintain and/or restore a patient's coagulation equilibrium. We are looking for a passionate and motivated software leader to help us evolve our TEG software solutions. This role will lead the software teams responsible for the TEG Manager software. With TEG Manager, customers are able to connect multiple TEG analyzers and centralize access to results across their fleet of devices. The TEG analyzers are used for near-patient testing where customers, including physicians and lab personnel, can view active and historical test results to inform their treatment decisions. With a variety of internal and external stakeholders, the ideal candidate will help us evolve this solution to create a state-of-the-art, medical-grade IoT platform. The platform will allow our customers to better manage their day-to-day activities as well as help them understand long-term trends. These trends will further help our customers' ability to make key decisions to deliver a better quality of care. What You’ll Do Internal Facing Manage multiple teams to establish and maintain a top-notch engineering culture through positive examples highlighting fairness, career development transparency, documentation and industry-standard practices. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness. Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application as well as ensuring compliance with them. Directs root cause analysis of critical business and production issues by reviewing and analyzing information (for example, issue, impact, criticality, or root cause analysis); directing actions as designated in the plan; interpreting the results to determine further action; directing root cause analysis to prevent future occurrence of issues, and reviewing and approving online documentation. Drives focus and improvement on the objective improvement of engineering velocity and technical metrics like lead time, cycle time, and open/close rate. External Facing Collaborate with engineering peers, leaders and business stakeholders to identify solutions to technical and business opportunities. Supports business objectives by collaborating with business partners to identify opportunities and drive resolution; partnering with the business to define priorities; identifying short- and long-term solutions; leading cross-functional partnerships. Leads the discovery phase of large projects to develop high-level design by partnering with the Product Management, Regulatory, Quality, Implementation and other teams; obtaining cross-functional approvals; driving proof-of-concept; and implementing prototypes to validate ideas. Drives the execution of business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events. Required Knowledge, Skills, & Capabilities Demonstrated diversity and inclusion within their organization Exceptional time management capabilities focused on maximizing value and reducing waste Experience in FDA-regulated or healthcare industry High emotional intelligence Minimum of 5 years in a management role Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) Extra Credit!
