Hadco Metal Trading Co., LLC is an international supplier of metal products includingaluminum,magnesium,stainless steel,copper, brass, related alloys, and industrial plastics. We have branches throughout the east and west coasts, and growing rapidly in the Midwest region with our newest facility in Oklahoma opening soon. Currently our main facilities are in California, Pennsylvania, New York, and Oklahoma, with many transfer stations throughout the east and west. 

We are looking for an energetic individual who is passionate about learning and growing in the metals industry.

Role & Responsibilities: 

  • Respond to inbound sales lead calls to convert into sales. 
  • Develop new prospects using information from inquiries, outbound calls, trade shows, aged leads, internet sites, and other sources. 
  • Interact with existing customers to identify leads and increase the sales of products and services. 
  • Quote pricing and credit terms, and prepare sales orders.
  • Estimate dates of delivery to customer based on knowledge of company production and delivery schedules. 
  • Build and maintain customer relationships. 
  • Work with outside sales representatives to build and maintain account activity. 
  • Maintain current knowledge of the metals industry, including potential customers and competitors, as well as business trends through trade association events and industry publications.

Requirements

Requirements: 

  • Ability to learn necessary knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control processes. 
  • Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently. 
  • Experienced in the principles and methods of providing excellent customer service. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly a strong virtual presence and listening skills. 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. 
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. 
  • Strong computer proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft applications. 
  • College degree preferred.
