Hadco Metal Trading Co LLC is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales

Description

Hadco Metal Trading, LLC distributes and supplies raw materials including mechanical grade plastics, aluminum, stainless steel, and related alloys. Our products include plate, sheet, rod, and tube for general engineering, aerospace, and commercial markets.

Hadco's branches are located strategically in New York, Pennsylvania, California, and Oklahoma, with transfer stations throughout the east and west coasts, allowing a nationwide presence and coverage.

Our range of high precision cutting equipment yields precise cuts regardless of the alloy, shape or size you require. In our main hubs you will find band saws, disc saws, stone plate saws, and shears for cutting plates, sheets and long products, with next day delivery capabilities.

 
We are looking for an experienced Inside Sales Representative with a solid understanding of industrial/mechanical grade plastic material & applications to expand our growth in the San Diego and Los Angeles areas. 

Role & Responsibilities: 

  • Increase sales of mechanical grade plastics including rod, tubing, and sheet material.
  • Conduct product and application training with the sales team. 
  • Work closely with sales team on quotes, orders and customer development.
  • Work closely with the mills for price support and market intelligence.
  • Manage inventory by analyzing reports, forecasting usage and negotiating pricing.
  • Implement best practices with QC to minimize issues and increase efficiencies.
  • Develop procedures to assist operations with material handling and identification.
  • Work closely with department head to strategize and formulate plans for growth.

Requirements

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of mechanical grade plastic materials and applications. 
  • Previous experience in direct customer interaction in a sales capacity.
  • Ability to conduct high-level presentations in front of multiple decision makers.
  • Capability to use critical thinking during the decision making process.
  • Ability to handle multiple job functions including sales, purchasing and QC. 
  • Highly developed organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout various territories as needed
