The Tax Manager is responsible for managing tax reporting and compliance within the Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) Network (the 'Network'). Ensures tax returns are completed and accurate to minimize tax obligations. Responsible for tax planning in preparation for future filings. Expected to assist all HMH team members with appropriate HMH tax related questions.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Bachelor's level degree in Accounting.
- A minimum of 5 or more years of experience in tax.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Challenge status quo thinking and assumptions.
- Ability to make decisions and implement solutions.
- Ability to interact effectively with upper level management.
- Ability to multitask, detail oriented and organized.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast paced and changing environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
- Prior healthcare experience.
- Prior auditing experience.
- Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or Masters in Tax.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
