Visit h1.co to learn more about us.WHAT YOU'LL DO AT H1The Staff Accountant role oversees the H1 Revenue and Receivables function and is the main Finance contact for our customers. The role will be responsible for our SaaS revenue accounting under ASC 606, invoicing to customers and collecting from them. In addition, the role will be in charge of managing and accounting for our corporate card expenses, fixed assets, prepaid expenses and various other financial statement areas. The position will partner with the business to provide a white glove service and drive business improvements in reporting, data integrity, analysis, and value add projects with direct access to the CFO and other Senior leaders within the Company. Other parts of the role include:- End to end revenue and receivables process, including month end, process improvements/automations to help the business scale, and preparation and remittance of invoices- Heavily focused on ensuring timely collection of receivables- Assisting in various month-end reconciliations and journal entries including but not limited to cash reconciliations, accounts receivable, fixed assets and prepaid expenses- Month end value add commentary on variances- Working closely with sales leadership and the wider sales team globally on invoicing, collections, customer management, and commission calculations- Assist with implementation of new software and tools- Assist with internal and external audits- Ad hoc projects as requiredABOUT YOUYou have a Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent; CPA qualified or close to completionYou have 3 years experience in a finance teamYou have proven solid analytical skills, and US GAAP technical accounting knowledgeYou are able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentYou’re an expert communicator - written & verbal You’re a self-starter with willingness to work hands-on, independently, as well as with a group You are intermediate in Microsoft ExcelNot meeting all the requirements but still feel like you’d be a great fit?
