Responsibilities:

• Perform bridge inspection in accordance with ODOT and NBIS procedures

• Maintain accurate and updated documentation

Qualifications:

• High School Grad or Equivalent in general high school studies.

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and follow senior level basic technical instructions

• Assist Team Leader in their duties

• Exposure to outside elements and office setting

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

• Must possess a valid driver’s license

• This role will support projects throughout the Oklahoma area.

• Additional responsibilities as needed

Preferred Certifications:

• FHWA/NBIS qualified Routine Bridge Inspection Team Leader

• FHWA/NBIS qualified Fracture Critical Bridge Inspection Team Leader

• Rope climbing experience/training and SPRAT Certificate

Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Physical Requirements

The physical requirements must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, stoop, crawl, and lifting. The employee must frequently lift and/or move light equipment up to 50 pounds. Must be alert to equipment in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery, occasional need to walk on uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes in temperature or humidity, and potential work at heights.
