Responsibilities:

  • Planning, design and construction management services
  • Project management – Provide PM oversight on airport design projects
  • Client management – meet with clients, regulators, and agencies to develop strong professional relationships. 
  • Business Development – Assist in development of new business via client meetings and participation in promotional activities.

Qualifications: 

  • B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
  • P.E. license required
  • 8 years of consulting experience in engineering within the aviation field.
  • This role will support the state of Arkansas.
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledgeable of FAA design criteria and standards
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as experience on aviation related projects

Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Physical Requirements

The physical requirements must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, stoop, crawl, and lifting. The employee must frequently lift and/or move light equipment up to 20 pounds. Must be alert to equipment in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery, occasional need to walk on uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes in temperature or humidity, and potential work at heights.
