Human Resources Administrator (Entry Level) Bilingual Korean, English, Whittier, CA HR Associate has a basic knowledge of human resources functions, from hiring to on-boarding and from employee compensation to evaluation. If you have a passion for HR,are familiar with labor law and look to kick-start your career in the field, this is the place to be. You’ll undertake a wide range of HR tasks, like organizing training sessions, administering employee benefits and leaves and crafting HR policies. You will ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. You’ll act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics. The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole. Responsibilities:Assist with all internal and external HR related mattersParticipate in developing organizational guidelines and proceduresAssist with the recruitment process by identifying candidatesInvestigate complaints brought forward by employeesEnsure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local employment, pay and workplace laws and regulations.Partner closely with Legal, Payroll to establish alignment and respond to compliance inquiries.Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practicesProvide support in all HR – related disciplines, including, but not limited to, organizational development, employee relations, talent management, organizational redesign, and performance management and employee development.Coordinate and execute all aspects of bringing onboard a new employee including scheduling orientation, preparing new hire packets, collecting and processing new hire paperwork, interfacing with payroll/benefits. Qualifications/Skills:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or the related field is requiredBasic knowledge of COBRA, diversity/EEO, FMLA, and related state and federal regulations is preferred and must have a strong intellectual curiosity to stay informed against complaint with employment laws and HR practiceAbility to build strong employee relations, attention to details, and communication skills across all levels of the organizationWork comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlinesMeticulous attention to detailWork Hours & Benefits:MON-FRI, 8:00am/9:00am to 6:00pmCompany provided LunchHealth Insurance CoverageDental and Vision CoveragePSL / PTOPaid Holidays per company policyCelebration & Condolence Benefits per company policyEligibility to use Company owned Resort per company policy5% Employee Points program with H Mart Smart CardEducation and Experience Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field1 years human resources experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Powerpoint)Fluency in Korean and English is a MustLocation:8550 Chetle Ave. Suite #B, Whittier, CA 90606
