Job Description
Essential functions / process responsibilities include the following: other duties may be assigned as necessary...
- Lead the vision, planning, development, and execution of customer engagement across all channels.
- Leverage analytics and customer insights to identify and execute innovative programs that increase customer growth and engagement
- Develops segmentation strategies that deliver personalized marketing programs
- Manages agency relationships, ad media, and promotional programs
- Evaluates market trend research and trade agreement proposals
- Develops promotional communications
- Manages adherence to graphic standards / logo guidelines
- Manages advertising, marketing, communication and branding initiatives
- Oversees external communications including advertising, direct marketing, digital, public and community relations, press releases and telemarketing
- Owns the budget and seeks opportunities to use it more effectively
- Contributes to a collaborative, team-oriented attitude - knows how to lead and follow
- Create and maintains strong relationships with the with merchant team and store teams
- Maximizes and coaches a strong team of marketing Partners
Education and experience preferred...
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Advertising or related field or comparable experience
- Intermediate PC skills
- Experience in developing marketing strategies
- Experience applying a data-driven approach to increase customer growth and engagement
- Advanced organization and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- Ability to build and maintain quality cross-functional relationships throughout all levels of the organization
- Deliver strong commitment, work ethic and professional values
- Working knowledge and experience in retail industry
- Extensive working knowledge and experience in multi-million dollar budget management
- Creative, innovative
Physical and Other Requirements...
- Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment
- Travel by car or airplane with overnight stays
- Sit for an extended period of time
- Lift 20 lbs or more on an occasional basis
- Work extended hours
