THE ROLE – FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

We are searching for a Field Service Technician who will thrive in a fast-paced independent work environment. As a Gym-Worx field technician, you will be on the front line of helping us maintain our reputation as best in class repair, maintenance and installation service provider to our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

• Drives company-owned vehicle to and from Gym-Worx or remote location to customers’ locations.
• Performs preventative maintenance services on fitness equipment on a routine basis.
• Repairs equipment expeditiously via skillful diagnoses and troubleshooting.
• Responds to customers’ needs in a friendly, supportive, and timely manner.
• Communicates job progress in a timely fashion to supervisor and customers.
• Communicates clearly both orally and in writing
• Completes service reports in a clear and precise manner.
• Uses every opportunity to promote Gym-Worx to existing and potential customers.
• Occasionally required to manipulate or lift awkward or heavy equipment
• Experience maintaining and repairing fitness equipment is preferred, but not required. Full training provided.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Minimum 3-years of experience repairing and maintaining mechanical equipment
• Sales Experience including management of customer accounts
• Minimum 3-years of experience working with a digital multi-meter.
• Good communication skills to earn customer’s rating of excellent customer service.
• Strong work ethic and reliable performance in reporting on time to various customer locations.
• A clean and valid driver’s license with the patience and ability to drive long distances when required.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Experience:

• Fitness Equipment Repair Experience is a PLUS
• Repairing/Maintaining Mechanical: 3 years (Preferred)
• Digital Multi-Meter: 3 years (Preferred)
• Basic Knowledge of Tools
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more

Pay: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour
