Account Manager

About the job

We are looking for an Account Manager- Independent Agencies to drive revenue growth and help maintain exceptionally high renewal and retention rates. Working with some of the fastest-growing and most exciting Independent Agencies, you’ll manage a well-established portfolio, working closely with your VP of Independent Agency to expand your independent agency-client relationships within the Americas.

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage a personal portfolio of Independent Agencies, retaining revenue and driving growth
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers to better understand their objectives and challenges, and how GWI can support
  • Regularly lead client conversations and detailed presentations face-to-face, via email, on the phone and via screen share
  • Negotiate with key stakeholders on renewal contracts
  • Help to drive and execute the expansion strategy and grow assigned portfolio year-on-year; including building client mappings and ability to perform gap analysis
  • Work with different GWI teams such as custom research, strategic insights, and marketing teams to help service the agency clients' needs and pitches
  • Project-manage and prepare client presentations by using GWI datasets and deliver tailored pitch and proposal documents
  • Stay up-to-date on key developments and changes within the GWI product eco-system; as well as have an acute awareness of wider developments in the digital and media advertising landscape

About you

Technical 

  • Knowledge of clients in the media, platform, advertising or research industry
  • Experience working with Salesforce or other similar CRM software solutions
  • Experience presenting to clients both in-person and virtual using PowerPoint

  • Passionate about data and loves to dig-out research nuggets that matter to our clients in order to move the needle in finding solutions to their problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and second to none relationship building skills
  • Detailed understanding of sales cycle & proven closing capabilities
  • Collaborative and team oriented approach to their work, with a thirst to learn and share knowledge
  • Strong ability to work cross functionally internally and externally to meet customer needs

The base salary for this role is between $75,000 to $85,000k plus commission plan. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications and location.
