GMHC is hiring a Full-Time Paramedic to be a part of our team of experienced professionals in the Emergency Room and pre-hospital setting to assist with the care of a wide range of patients. Our staffing model consists of three 12-hour shifts per week including 1 weekend per 3-week rotation. Guttenberg Ambulance Service responds to nearly 600 calls per year with approximately 55% 911 responses and 45% transfers to a higher level of care. Our service is licensed at the Critical Care provisional level. In collaboration with an aggressive Medical Director, Pharmacist, Respiratory Therapist, and Emergency Department, our team is able to utilize RSI drugs, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP and medical direction when the need arises.

Job Summary Responsibilities Include:

• Prehospital 911 response and interfacility transports
• Hospital-based service providing support in a level IV trauma facility
• Innovative equipment to assist in emergency situations: Lucas, Styker Autoload cot system, vacuum splints, King Vision, EZ-IO, Zoll X series, Data transmission in real-time to receiving facility, Wifi availability to promote real-time documentation.
