Reporting to our Head of Finance, you will collaborate across our media, creative and engineering teams to scale and standardize workflows to ensure accurate financial reporting. 

About the Role:

Technical and Financial Reporting 
As an Accountant with our team, you will ensure that revenue and expenses are recorded accurately, timely, and in accordance with GAAP. You will participate in the monthly close process, oversee the creation of monthly financial reports, and analyze and report cost variances to budget and previous periods. Beyond regular reporting, you will also be involved in special projects from senior management as we look for opportunities to improve the business.

Compliance ManagementAs part of your role, you will provide support for the preparation of the corporate tax returns, sales tax, 401k and other informational reporting. You will be in charge of ensuring robust internal controls and for maintaining the finance policies and procedures manual. In addition, daily cash flow monitoring will be under your purview.
 
Required Skills and Education

• Master’s or Bachelor’s (Finance or Accounting Preferred)

• CPA preferred
• 4 years experience

• Strong knowledge of GAAP reporting and technical accounting skills

• Ability to communicate financial information and analytical expertise orally and in writing

• Familiarity with tax and payroll compliance

• Previous experience managing direct reports as part of a finance team

• A high level of professionalism coupled with a steadfast commitment to good process
