GTI Energy is Hiring a TRAINING SPECIALIST (HUMAN RESOURCES) Near Des Plaines, IL

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for lifecycle training of all Team Members to include orientation, role specific certifications, compliance trainings, leadership development, etc. 
  • Maintains company learning management system to include course assignments, completion status, and final records. 
  • Coordinates training with outside providers as needed.
  • Reviews training to ensure compliance according to company and regulator policies and procedures.
  • Communicates with departments to ensure a full understanding of their current and future training needs.
  • Provides support and participates in all team member events as requested by the Human Resources department. 
  • Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos.
  • Reviews training programs for improvement opportunities.
  • Use and encourage the use of technology to enhance the training function.
  • Assist in developing metrics to ensure that training goals are consistently being met.
  • Responsible for documenting and tracking all training provided to each Team Member.
  • Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.
  • Makes recommendations for additional training while working within the assigned budget.
  • Responsible for scheduling of all training. 
  • Maintain and distribute the training room calendar.
  • Performs other duties requested or assigned.
