Job Responsibilities

- Must be capable of and does make repair parts from sketch, sample or blueprints.

- Responsible for diagnosing and correcting trouble of all descriptions on equipment.

- May be assigned electrical tasks of a minor nature.

- Responsible for preventative maintenance and documentation on equipment.

- Assists maintenance manager in purchase of replacement or spare parts required.

- When required, transports material to or from outside facilities.

- Required to use handcarts, lift trucks, overhead crane or other transport vehicles efficiently and safely.

- Maintains clean work areas.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Required

Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent.

Must have journeyman’s card or proof of equivalent experience.

Skill Specifications

Good mechanical skills.

Good communication skills as well as a strong sense of dedication to detail and follow up.
