About the Position
The Golden State Warriors are looking for a Data Scientist to join the growing Business Strategy and Analytics team. In this role, you will help the organization achieve our mission of becoming a global leader in experiences and entertainment, by working collaboratively with organizational leaders and a team of data analysts. This position reports to the Director, Business Strategy and Analytics.

This is a full-time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy and monitor predictive models
- Build features for predictive models
- Partner with data analysts to integrate the results into decision making
- Analyze large data sets to discover trends and patterns
- Maintain a pulse on the current state of data science and analytics
Required Experience & Skills
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 4 years working on data team
- Expertise with scripting languages such as Python or R
- Advanced knowledge of and experience applying data science to solve business problems, such as predictive modeling, machine learning,
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Experience working in cloud environments (e.g. GCP)
- Experience writing scalable ETL/ELT
- Experience operating predictive models in production
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to build positive working relationships with business partners and peers at all levels within the organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication; strong presentation skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical partners
- Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment
- Passion and curiosity for the sports and entertainment industry
