About the role:

The Quality Assurance Specialist MUST HAVE manufacturing experience. We look for you to prepare reports and recommend solutions to technical problems. You are a strong communicator, excellent with follow-ups.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assists in acquiring ISO9001 certificate, PPAP documentation, IATF16949, and maintaining system.
  • Prepares and implements quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Reviews operations procedures, investigations, production records, quality control records, and corrective and preventative actions.
  • Assists in the migration from paper to electronic records.
  • Investigates root causes of customer complaints and nonconformance reports.
  • Creates training materials.
  • Documents quality assurance activities and creates audit reports.
  • Ensure timely escalation to management of all applicable incidents.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5 years of QA experience or relevant GMP work experience with 2 years QA experience.
  • Experience in automotive quality systems preferred.
  • Experience with ISO9001, PPAP, and/or IATF 16949.
  • Experience conducting quality investigations, root cause analysis, and quality risk assessment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Certificate in quality assurance, such as an Internal Quality Auditor is a plus.
  • Experience with MasterControl and SAP is a plus.
  • Strong team player who effectively collaborates with internal departments.
