Who Are We Looking For

We are currently seeking freelance videographers to work on a contract basis, delivering multimedia content that meets and exceeds client expectations. The right candidate will have proven experience in filming original and creative video and digital content, everything from short-form social content to long-form or episodic videos. They are proficient at operating RED and Canon cameras and gimbal systems and know how to balance the right lighting composition for each set.

What You’ll Do

• Support the execution of best-in-class multimedia video content from concept to execution.
• Develop shot lists, review talent, scout locations when needed and arrange equipment rentals.
• Operate RED or Canon cameras both in studio and on location, direct talent, and ensure all footage is properly offloaded and backed up.
• Play a key role in the production process from kick-off to delivery, actively participating in production discussions.
• Demonstrates strategic thinking by staying abreast of clients’ business, emerging industry trends and topic areas, with an aim to be ahead of the curve on innovative storytelling.
• Demonstrates problem-solving skills when dealing with client feedback; provides input and escalates as necessary

What You’ll Bring

We’d like you to tick as many of these bullets as possible but remember that you don’t have to be a 100% match – we’re looking for a unicorn, so “unusual” shapes of person and profile are welcome.

• Minimum four years of experience as videographer with expertise operating RED and Canon camera systems
• Experience using lighting systems, DJI/Movi gimbal systems and recording audio a plus
• Experience executing small- and large-scale shoots from pre- to post-production
• Knowledge of production gear, including cameras and G&E and costs associated

• Organized, with strong time management skills to manage multiple projects and client feedback and produce high-quality work on tight deadlines

• Experience using collaborative team communication and project management applications like Slack, Trello & MS Teams to ensure efficiency
• Knowledge of DSLR still cameras a plus
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Lightroom) a plus
• Able to travel
