Food and Beverage Manager
Mayfield Village, OH
Hilton Garden Inn is looking for a Food and Beverage Manager to service their Mayfield Village, Ohio location. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned server who wants to grow in its career, works well with others, self-motivated, organized, flexible, and possess exceptional customer skills.
Food & Beverage Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet guests in a timely manner
- Take orders and inform guests of special menu items
- Serve as the M.O.D when Restaurant Manager is off-duty
- Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas
- Ensure associates are prepared, working together, and follow all food handling guidelines
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, as well being of guests
- Assure prompt and professional service to all guests
- Train associates as needed
- Advise Restaurant Manager and Food and Beverage Director of daily problems and needs
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Food and Beverage Manager Requirements:
- A minimum of three years’ work experience as a server preferably in a resort, hotel, or fine dining restaurant environment
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus
- Must be able to work in any environment for long periods of time
- Ability to multi-task calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment
- Must have a flexible schedule including weekend and holidays
