Field Service Technician II –a knowledgeable mid-level Technician who can be considered independently capable of managing the preventative maintenance, operation, and care of most types of pollution abatement equipment RHZ routinely encounters. The FST II is responsible for routine work on customer sites and is starting to master troubleshooting. The FST II is a solid independent field employee who has not yet mastered all aspects of the equipment, but has a solid foundation on which to build. They will travel to remote locations, interact with customer representatives, and with the assistance of the FST I, generate solutions to both mechanical and automation issues, and implement such solutions at the approval of the customer and/or their supervisor. Applicants must be able to reliably read electrical and mechanical drawings and use most of the routine equipment required for the job. What your day looks like as a Field Service Technician:
What is in it for you:
FST II: $32 - $40/hour, OT after 40 hours/week. Assume 50 hours per week on average
There will be a few 60 to 80 hour weeks. When those happen, the following week will have paid days off to allow employees to recuperate.
