Indiana Reclamation and Excavating, Inc. Is locally family owned and operated. IRE has been providing utility maintenance and restoration for Indianapolis and surrounding communities since 1994.

IRE is currently seeking a full-time Laborer that is responsible for completing any assigned work to assist in the completion of requested work from various customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Loads trucks with common consumables.
• Drives crew truck to jobsite.
• Works with Foreman to set up jobsite including unchaining machines from the trailer, saw cutting, and unloading all necessary tools.
• Actively cleans and maintains jobsites while working.
• Assists in repair work on jobsite such as cutting pipes, shoveling dirt, removing stone, sweeping, gluing, mixing, etc.
• Actively assists other Laborers to pour concrete.
• Restores jobsites back to their original state prior to job being performed.
• Gathers paperwork, vendor tickets, and traffic control forms from Foreman.
• Prepares trucks for next day by fueling truck, cleaning truck, organizing truck, and loading for the next day.
• Assists with general upkeep around the shop.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Driver's License
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of previous laborer experience – concrete experience is preferred
• Accountable to show up to work and be on time
• Must be willing to go on call, may be called upon outside of regular work hours
• Must be able to physically meet demands of job: Pushing, pulling, and lifting objects
• Must be willing to learn new skills and follow instructions
• Ability to read comprehend and comprehend instructions
• Will be expected to assist in any type of work the company does:
  • Utility repairs, Restorations, Resurfacing Projects, concrete work, and dirt work
