Billing Specialist

VectorVest is a Stock Analysis and Portfolio Management Software company that offers clear stock market guidance and proprietary valuation of individual stocks and market timing to retail and professional investors.

VectorVest is seeking an ambitious Billing Specialist to become part of an esteemed services company in Charlotte, NC.

As one of the team’s Billing Specialists, you will report directly to the Controller and be responsible for billing-related matters, as well as the maintenance and optimization of our existing billing software and associated processes.

What you'll do

• Responsible for the timely and accurate billing of all customers
• Use our systems and processes to work through billing issues while maintaining our integrity and reputation
• Become an expert on our billing system, Zuora.
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure billing systems are developed and maintained to support ASC 606
• Work closely with Product Support to make sure customer needs are satisfied
• Compile and process information such as prices, discounts, and allocations
• All other duties as needed

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field or the equivalent in experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with Zuora, Salesforce, and/or Sage-100 preferred

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30A-4:30P. Occasional weekend and overtime hours during our busy periods.
