NOW HIRING FOR IMMEDIATE OPENING – ASSEMBLER

The Assembler assists the in-field team members by pre-fabricating outlets, switches, panels, and light fixtures as directed by the Pre-fab Foreman.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works under the direction of the Pre-fab Foreman to assemble electrical components for use on specific job locations, using hand and power tools and other equipment as directed.

• Works fin a climate controlled facility, in a modified assembly line format.

• Will transport some tools and materials around the shop as instructed.

• Responsible for clean-up (sweeping, discarding trash, collecting scrap and returning tools and materials to secure area) after work is completed.

• All other duties as assigned

Skills / Competency:

• Quality and quality of work – He/she will complete all work neatly and expediently.

• Knowledge – He/she has a basic knowledge of blueprints and completes all work according to prints and /or as instructed by Pre-fab Foreman.

• Safety – Attends weekly safety meetings and complies with all company safety standards and regulations of the National Electrical Code.

• Communication – Communicates with Pre-Fab Foreman to convey understanding of all assignments. Provides concise, timely reporting to management.

Qualifications:

• Education and/or experience -- High school diploma, trade school diploma, or general education degree (GED).

• Language Skills – Ability to interact clearly and effectively with CEC team.

• Technical Skills – Ability to perform all functions of the job safely and accurately

• Mathematical Skills – Ability to read and comprehend basic mathematical functions including arithmetic and measurements.

Physical Demands:

• Applicant will assist with transporting tools and materials in the Pre-Fab shop. He/she will regularly lift, pull and/or move more than 60 pounds.

Work Environment:

• He/she works in a shop environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

• He/she must wear personal protective equipment including but not limited to work boots, long pants, and safety glasses as needed.

Pay: $15-17/hour
