Join our team! Pink Shell Beach Resort is seeking an experienced General Cashier/Accounts Receivable Clerk. The General Cashier/Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for processing all accounts receivable invoices to ensure accurate and timely payment as well as responsible for ensuring an effective flow of cash within the hotel per BMC standards

What are we looking for?

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• 2 years experience in Accounts Receivable strongly preferred

What would my job responsibilities be?

• Reviews and complete all credit verifications for direct bill accounts
• Maintains organized and accurate direct billing files
• Completes all customer requests for receipt copies
• Manages all three status accounts verifying rooming list, banquet charges, etc.
• Ensures that all invoices and group billings over $3,000.00 are sent by certified mail
• Balances petty cash vouchers for reimbursement
• Completes all tax exempt adjustments and ensures all necessary information is accounted for
• Manages all city ledger accounts for wholesale, local, group categories, members and Marina
• Completes all invoicing including daily statements, delinquency statements and correspondence letters
• Post payments, adjustments and miscellaneous charges to both city ledger and guest ledger accounts
• Completes all collection calls for Corporate Groups and Wholesale accounts with balances past due
• Issues banks and complete required paperwork for any new bank holding positions
• Completes and balance daily bank deposits and general cashier report
• Maintains and update an accurate file for "bank acknowledgements"
• Enters and processes monthly travel agent commissions via Onyx third party website.
