We are looking for an experienced and energetic Community Liaison to join our Senior Living Community team in Long Beach, CA!
Responsibilities:
The main responsibility for the Marketing Liaison is to generate move-ins through relationship building with community referral sources and tracking in-coming leads. Must have strong communication and computer skills. The marketing liaison is responsible for all aspects of the move-in process including obtaining all required documents required by our licensing agency.
Some other tasks include:
· Handling office tasks, such as filing, generating reports and presentations and reordering supplies.
- Provide general administrative – including mailing, scanning, faxing and copying to management.
- Assist the VP and Executive Director with the day-to-day operations.
- Assist with designing and improving our social media and website.
- Resolves administrative problems by coordinating preparation of reports, analyzing data and identifying solutions.
- Responsible for fielding inquiry calls from hospitals, families, potential residents, etc., giving tours and securing deposits.
- Outreach and business development
- Attend weekly meetings, assist in implementation of quarterly marketing plan, monitor budgets and track results. Able to demonstrate fluency in creating basic charts/spreadsheets.
- Help enforce fire safety, OSHA and emergency standards.
- Special projects and events as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Well-organized, detail oriented and resourceful.
- Capable of working independently and multitasking.
- Ability to work and learn efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Knowledge of social media is a plus.
- College degree preferred.
- Must pass a criminal background clearance before beginning work.
- Must be Covid vaccinated and boosted.Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison between the community and the organization, fostering positive relationships and promoting collaboration
- Conduct public speaking engagements to educate the community about the organization's mission, programs, and services
- Supervise and support volunteers in their roles, providing guidance and ensuring their effectiveness
- Manage projects related to community outreach and engagement, including planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Collaborate with social work professionals to develop and implement programs that address community needs
- Collect data on community demographics, needs, and resources to inform program development and decision-making
- Recruit community members to participate in programs and initiatives, ensuring diverse representation
- Collaborate with public health agencies and organizations to promote health education and disease prevention initiatives
Qualifications:
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
- Experience in supervising and managing volunteers effectively
- Proficient in project management principles and practices
- Knowledge of social work principles and practices for community development
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data for program planning and evaluation
- Experience in recruiting individuals for participation in programs or initiatives
- Familiarity with public health concepts and strategies for promoting health education
