Griffis Residential is Hiring a Training and Development Specialist Near Greenwood Village, CO

Overview

The Training and Development Specialist will work collaboratively across all departments and support field Operations. This position will partner with all departments to facilitate training sessions, manage training programs, create training content and coordinate training activities. Examples of daily activities include, but are not limited to, content creation, data/needs analysis, program management/reporting and associate communication.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, monitor, and evaluate training programs’ effectiveness, success, and report on them
  • Manage vendors as necessary
  • Identify and assess the training needs of the organization through job analysis, career paths, available Learning Management Systems (LMS) data and consultation with managers and leaders
  • Assess and create training curriculum and programs to facilitate strategic training based on the organization’s goals
  • Gather and evaluate feedback from associates and managers on training opportunities
  • Inform associates of scheduled training and track their progress
  • Recommend and implement effective and purposeful training methods and materials
  • Drive brand values and philosophy through all training and development activities
  • Design, prepare, and order training materials
  • Support the continuous improvement process for measuring the effectiveness of training programs with regular reporting and in-person contact with trainees and managers
  • Support execution of implementation plans for training and development programs and roll outs
  • Work collaboratively across all departments and create content in various formats
  • Assist with arranging travel, booking meetings and events, creating system wide communication, and answering calls related to training

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
  • 2-4 year related Training and Development experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Exemplary written, verbal, visual, and presentation communication skills required
  • Understanding of adult learning philosophies, learning design, and applications
  • Advanced organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Experienced, confident, and comfortable participating and facilitating training sessions and meetings
  • Proven ability to be a trusted, valued, and effective contributor and collaborator within and across teams
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Other

  • Ability to travel as business needs dictate (approximately 25%)
