Description

Are you a systematic and organized person who others would describe as always willing to help-out? Are you naturally efficient and able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards for accuracy and follow through?

We are looking for an HRG to join our HR Team. We always have fun while working through our days and there is never a dull moment. Several of our companies are growing rapidly in North Carolina and looking to expand outside of our state. We need that special someone who can focus on the task at hand but always be prepared to switch gears when needed. This individual should be someone looking to use their HR knowledge, skills, and abilities within the complete life cycle of our employees and be looking for growth.

  • Assists with the development of performance reviews.
  • Assist with benefit enrollment and employee education of benefits.
  • Assist with the development and roll out of employee talent programs.
  • Implement and facilitate new hire orientation.
  • Develop and facilitate employee recognition programs.
  • Act as back-up for payroll processing.
  • Completes system updates regarding new hires in appropriate sites.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Build and maintain our safety software.
  • Maintains driving records and updates systems and carriers upon hire, completes monthly auto insurance audits from carriers.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing, communication tools and payroll and human resources software, Paylocity experience a plus
  • Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking
  • Strong empathy and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and analytically driven
  • Knowledge of administrative tasks and responsibilities
  • Minimum 3 years HR Generalist experience
  • PHR or SHRM-CP a plus
