Job Description:

We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our Team. The Human Resources Manager originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards; goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the development of processes and metrics that support the achievement of the organization's business goals. The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide subject matter expertise and act as a strategic resource in all areas of human resources 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employees 
  • Create and educate employees on new handbooks and policies 
  • Organizational departmental planning 
  • Performance management and improvement systems 
  • Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns regarding employees 
  • Employee onboarding, development, needs assessment, and training 
  • Employee relations – Company-wide committee facilitation 
  • Compensation and benefits administration 
  • Recruit, screen, and manage the interview process of potential employees
  • Manage all HR aspects of new hire onboarding including but not limited to benefits enrollment, welcome presentations and meetings, handbook and process creation and implementation, and preparation of all materials
  • Assist in developing performance management processes
  • Implement and become the champion of the company's culture, values, and policies
  • Provide management with requested reports and documents
  • Revise, develop, and implement our career development and training plans for employees
  • Collaborate interdepartmentally on incentive programs which support company initiatives and goals 
  • Coordinate and champion events focused on employee recognition and team enrichment
  • Maintain and file all necessary regulatory compliance documents
  • Internship Program creation and management
  • Establish and develop relationships with Academic and Placement personnel at Strategic Institutions 

Qualifications, skills, and knowledge:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field; minimum 3 years employee relations experiences consulting with senior management
  • Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) certification preferred
  • Act consistently with the company’s core values and mission 
  • Comfort around higher management, can easily communicate with senior leadership and can present themselves as a confident and competent HR resource 
  • Demonstrate HR knowledge and is open to feedback and development 
  • Display a positive attitude and passion for serving our employees 
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; can effectively cope with change, shift gears easily, and adapt according to business or client needs 
  • Approachable and able to successfully build relationships and develop rapport and trust with a variety of people 
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills 
  • Good interpersonal savvy; able to relate openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people 
  • Has the courage to tackle difficult problems and acts with resilience when faced with challenges 
  • Manage complex situations with ease and HR expertise 
  • Has keen business insight and understands business metrics 
  • Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies 
  • Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees 
  • Attention to detail and good judgement 
  • Knowledge of labor and employment laws
  • Ability to build rapport with all employees and leadership
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure with a positive outlook
