Responsibilities

What You Will Do?

• Assists manager with planning, scheduling, and training front of the house kitchen staff.
• Conduct training for new hires and ongoing training programs such as in-services.
• Works collaboratively with Manager, Executive Chef, and Sous Chef on menu changes and communicates changes to staff.
• Works collaboratively with internal GVS departments to ensure smooth operations and quality service
• Responsible for point of service system: adds/updates menus and pricing of items. Coordinates reservations for dining rooms.
• Builds relationships with residents and encourages participation in food service activities

Qualifications

What It Takes To Succeed?

• High School Diploma or GED Required, Bachelor’s Degree in restaurant management, culinary, or related field
• One year of relevant work experience and leadership experience
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
