Overview

A Parts Deliver Driver at Greenway Equipment is member of the parts team within the organization. The job requires a driver’s health card and clean driving record. The Parts Delivery Driver will be transporting items utilizing company trucks such as a box van or pickup with trailer to our locations, drop boxes and customers. The duties include loading and unloading parcels and pallets, securing the load for travel, accurate deliveries and picking up items as required for transfer to another location. Accurately tracking the inventory to ensure the items are unloaded at the right destination is a key metric.

Responsibilities

• Physically loading items from upcoming deliveries. This may include using a forklift, pallet jack, portable dock, hand dolly, or manually picking up the items.
• Securing the load to ensure safe transport to the destination.
• Unloading items at the destination, ensuring good condition and proper quantity is unloaded.
• Confirming paperwork at delivery locations, getting signatures when required.
• Utilizing barcode scanner when required for parcel delivery and inventory verification.
• Identify any missing, lost, or damaged products and work with supervisor to ensure inventory is reflected correctly in the business system.
• Performing daily and weekly maintenance of the delivery vehicle including fuel, checking fluids, tire, brakes, and wipers condition, along with maintenance of the van door and mechanical lift.
• Safely operate machines such as pallet jacks, forklifts, hand lifts using proper Personal Protection Equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean vehicle, maintain safety and maintenance records, and perform scheduled safety inspections of the vehicles.

Qualifications

• Health card required, CDL License preferred
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
• Experience loading and unloading AG Equipment
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
