The inventory control specialist position manages inventory through database and maintain levels required daily to meet distribution demands.

Qualifications Guidelines
Experience/Training/Education:
Required: High School diploma or GED equivalent, minimum one year of inventory control experience, experience with Microsoft Office
Desired: Some supervisory or team leading experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Basic knowledge of computer systems is needed to write reports and use Microsoft Office. High level of organization skills is needed to successfully maintain order of warehouse and inventory. Strong critical thinking and analytic skills are required. Knowledge of quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the manufacture and distribution of goods. Mathematical skills including percentages, statistics, and their applications.
Physical and Environmental Elements:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
