Job Description:
Activities Assistant will be responsible for promotion of daily and on-going activities for residents that meet emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of residents.
Duties include:
- One on one activities
- Group activities
- Good Computer Skills (excel & word)
- Care Conferences
- Care Plans
- Life History Assessments
- Self-Motivated
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two or more years of previous experience working with older adults.
- CNA license, preferred.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills required.
- Dependable, cooperative, and highly motivated to work with and care for the
- elderly.
- Maintains a clean, organized work and/or storage area.
- Prioritizes and organize work effectively.
- Creative program planning skills.
- Special training in the needs of dementia and Alzheimer’s and willingness to continue with ongoing continuing education in dementia issues.
Schedule:
- Full Time 9AM-5PM and every other weekend
